The Fear of Being “Seen.”

It is exactly what it sounds like. If you have a fear of being seen, somewhere along your childhood you were taught that being your true authentic self gets you judged and rejected. This manifests into adulthood by hiding, not speaking up, avoiding pushing yourself out of your comfort zone, and denying asking for help because you don’t want to be a burden to others. You might also be surprised when people remember you, and you probably suffer from loneliness.
